Felt Owl Phone Pouch

Hi All, today's video features how to make a felt owl phone pouch. It is really colourful and super easy to make.

The pouch measures 7 inches in height and 4.5 inches in width and is big enough to fit any phone.
Materials needed:

  • Felt: (Yellow for the body, Green for the wings, pink for the feathers, black and white for the eyes, blue for the flower and orange for the beak). I got felt from Itsy Bitsy and Aliexpress. Given below are the links: http://www.itsybitsy.in/.   http://s.aliexpress.com/F7fIR7ve
  • Silicon Glue (This is also from Itsy Bitsy). You can use hot glue or any other fabric glue for this purpose
  • Embroidery thread (green, pink, yellow and black)
  • Velcro and Big press button (This is also available at itsy Bitsy. You would also find it at your local craft store in the jewellery section)
  • Scissors/Ruler/Pencil

Please watch the video below that gives a step by step to make this owl. You can directly fast forward the video to 2:10 if you do not wish to learn how to make the template.

I am not good at stitching or embroidery. Hence I first do a blanket stitch on each part separately and then just glue them together instead of stitching the parts which is the right way to do it.

First you need to download the template given below.
